Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for research and development in the areas of business development. The position would be involved in applying and extending the understanding of business expansion needs to meet the challenges of this fast moving environment. This is an autonomous role which requires someone who is comfortable with decision making. Applicants must possess excellent leadership and organizational. skills and be able to drive the Company’s business development needs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design and Implement extensive research on the Company’s current and future business opportunities, market reach, products, business strategies Review and evaluate the Company’s business strategy/investments against the background of trends and new developments in the sector
- Analyses information data on the Company’s performance, conduct peer group analysis and provide periodic inftrmation on the Company’s status in the industry
- Design and Implement periodic benchmarking exercise on the performance of the Company in key strategic areas of customer service, financials, Brand perception, visibility, market share, channel etc.
- Determine and track required performance, reliability requirements and research of new products and services to improve Company’s profile
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements:
- BSc, Business Administration or equivalent in related educational field At least Ten (10) years work experience with at least five(5) in research and product development role
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in the pension industry with proven record of performance is an added advantage
- Possession of Masters’ degree is an added advantage.
