Job Description
Guided by the objectives of company, the COO would be required to provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures as well as people systems in place to effectively grow the organisation and to ensure operating efficiency.


  • The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Report directly to the Chief Executive
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management that project the mission and core values of the company.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organisation.
  • Provide strategic and operational contributions to various functions including brand and communications, information technology, human resource management, administration and quality assurance.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Represent the company with clients, investors, and business partners.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Constructive and energetic individual.
  • Strong leadership and consensus building skills; relationship management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering strategic plans.
  • Good knowledge of insurance and financial services industry.
