Job Title: Language Teachers (Hausa, Igbo, & Yoruba)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement appropriate instructional activities that will guide students in the knowledge of Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba.
• Teach Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba to the students, children and adults.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Observe and evaluate students' performance and development.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments and provide appropriate feedback on work.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by ensuring the rules and procedures are followed to the letter.
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
• Perform duties including but not limited to student support, counselling students with academic problems and providing student encouragement.

Qualification/Experience

• A First degree in Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba Education respectively.
• Minimum of 3 years experience.
