Head, State Liaison (HSL - PFA017)

This role is primarily responsible for coordinating the activities of all State Liaison offices.
The Job Holder reports to the Director, Pension Service Department and oversees the State Liaison Officers.

HEAD, STATE LIAISON (HSL – PFA017)


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as an intermediary between Liaison Offices and the rest of the department to ensure optimum communication.
Oversee the definition and execution of strategies and work plans of the state Liaison offices.
Present progress and evaluation reports on the activities of the Liaison offices to the Director, Pensioner Service Department.
Ensure the implementation of the Agency’s Service Delivery strategy at all Liaison offices.
Ensure standardization of service delivery and quality assurance in all Liaison Offices.
Liaise with key stakeholders and pension associations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other Social Science discipline.
A Professional accounting certification, e.g. ACA, ACCA or other relevant higher business degree will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 12 years work experience of which at least 3 years should have been in a management position

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
A good knowledge of the regulations and legislations governing pensions.
Good project/program and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and ability to relate with diverse people and cultures.
