CAD/PDMS Senior Staffs
CAD/PDMS Senior Staff are responsible for the preparation of technical design drawings independently, through exercise of own judgment in excess of that of a draftsperson. Undertakes design using PDMS facilities and capable to run system "clash checks" and supervise more junior PDMS engineers.
1.) CAD/PDMS Design Lead Engineer - Ref 29
CAD/PDMS Design Lead Engineer to have a degree in engineering or other relevant qualifications.
To have a minimum of 16 years’ experience as a design engineer and at least 10 years in the use and application of PDMS.
2.) CAD/PDMS Design Principal Engineer - Ref 30
CAD/PDMS Design Principal Engineer to have a degree in engineering or other relevant qualifications. To have a minimum of 14 years’ experience as a design engineer and at least 7 years in the use and application of PDMS.
3.) CAD/PDMS Design Senior Engineer - Ref 31
CAD/PDMS Design Senior Engineer to have a degree in engineering or other relevant qualifications. To have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a design engineer and at least 5 years in the use and application of PDMS.
CAD/PDMS Design Engineer
CAD/PDMS Engineers are required to produce technical design drawings independently, through exercise of own judgment in excess of that of a draftsperson. Undertakes design using PDMS facilities and capable to run system "clash checks".
4.) CAD/PDMS Design Engineer II - Ref 32
CAD/PDMS Design Engineer II to have a degree in engineering or other relevant qualification.
To have a minimum of 8 years experience as a design engineer and at least 5 years in the use and application of PDMS.
5.) CAD/PDMS Design Engineer I - Ref 33
CAD/PDMS Design Engineer I to have a degree in engineering or other relevant qualification.
To have a minimum of 5 years experience as a design engineer and at least 3 years in the use and application of PDMS.

While a Mac can technically run SolidWorks, in most cases CAD software is written solely for Windows-based machines. This means on a Mac the software will be running through a proxy instead of natively which could affect performance. This is in addition to the fact that you will still need a fully-licensed copy of Windows for Boot-Camp on the Mac if you wish to run a Windows-based CAD Suite.. . Unless you have a specific need for the Mac, I would suggest going with a PC.
