Samuel Adegboyega University Undergraduate Admission into SAU Degree Programmes for the 2014/2015 Academic Session

Samuel Adegboyega University is envisioned to be a world class university, excellent in academic traditions and exceptional in providing university education which empowers the graduates to act with professional competence and ethical steadfastness in fulfilling their obligation to the Society.


The University is a fully residential institution with excellent Academic and Hall of Residence facilities, Ogwa, the seat of the University, is situated off Agbor, on the Benin/Asaba Highway; about 30 minutes drive to Agbor, Uromi and Ekpoma.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for undergraduate admission into SAU Degree Programmes for the 2014/2015 academic session.

General Entry Requirement 

Admission Into 100-Level
For admission into 100 level, candidates must possess credit level passes in five (5) subjects at the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings. The subjects passed must include English Language and Mathematics for Basic & Applied Sciences, and Management & Social Sciences programmes, and English Language for Humanities programmes.

Candidate awaiting SSCE/GCE/O’Level/NECO/NABTEB results may also apply provided the results will be available at the time of Matriculation.

Admission Through Direct Entry into 200-Level
Candidates for admission into 200-level must have in addition to requirement for admission into 200-level passed G.G.E (A/L) in 2 relevant subjects or passed NCE, OND, HND or equivalent at not less than lower credit level.

Candidates with less than 5 O’ Level credit can apply for Pre-Degree programmes

Diploma Programmes;
Candidates with five credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO/O’L Certificate in relevant subjects including English Language at not more than two sittings, but with less than the JAMB prescribed cut-off mark can apply.

Compulsory Post-UTME
Compulsory Screening Exercise for all prospective candidates, including those who have not chosen the University in the UTME/Direct Entry and wish to attend Samuel Adegboyega University as well as candidates who have chosen the institution as thaw choice will take place on Saturday 19th July, 2014

Completed change of University Forms can be returned online to: registrar@sau.edu.ng , admissions@sau.edu.ng or the Academic Affairs Unit in the Registry at the University Campus or the Liaison Office at Oloronda-Ketu, Lagos.

Closing Date
Completed Application Forms must be returned not later than Friday 15th July, 2014 All candid des are requested to submit their application forms with the following:

Photocopies of all tales ant credentials including JAMB/U IML Registration/Result Slip
Photocopy of birth certificate
Photocopy of receipt of Samuel Adegboyega University Forms.
