Location: Lagos, Nigeria

The Role
Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter in Lagos to cover and break news related to African stocks, bonds and currencies, with a particular focus on Nigeria. The successful candidate will join a team covering these markets in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The job includes following African markets on a daily basis, interviewing top strategists and investors, and writing features and analyses explaining these markets to a global audience. The candidate will also be expected to help out with coverage of other African news.

Qualifications:

  • Proven business journalism experience
  • Experience working in a real-time news environment is desirable
  • Experience of covering stocks would be a strong advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
