Vacancies in a Foremost Express Delivery/Logistics Company(2 Positions)

Our client, a Foremost Express Delivery/Logistics Company with offices nationwide and a clientele base that cuts across all sectors of the economy is in search of the right candidates to fill the following job openings:

1. HEAD – OPERATIONS

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and coordinate operational activities consistent with the Organization’s goals. Review & implement criteria, application instructions, procedural manuals, policies and standards in line with operations requirements.
  • Direct country wide supervision of the entire operations team.


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • First degree or equivalent in related discipline.
  • Possession of a professional qualification and/or masters degree will be an added advantage.
  • Age: Not above 45 years.
  • Must have minimum of 10 years related experience in the Express/Logistics industry.
  • Possess strong people management skills.


2. OPERATIONS MANAGER

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Hub, Ground physical operations nationwide. Implement criteria, instructions, procedural manuals, policies and standards in line with operations’ requirements. 
  • Coordinate daily routine pick-ups and maintenance of proper and accurate documentation. 
  • Ensure effective and timely delivery of Intra-city and on-forwarding locations consignments nationwide.


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • First degree or equivalent in related discipline.
  • Possession of a professional qualification and/or masters degree will be an added advantage.
  • Age: Not above 40 years
  • Must have minimum of 5 years related experience in the Express/Logistics industry.
  • Possess strong people management skills.
