An indigenous Company in the Oil & Gas sector has an opportunity for hardworking, goal driven, focused, creative and qualified candidates that can cope in a fast paced environment, to fill the vacant position.

The positions are location/offshore based and therefore on equal rotation basis.

1. SITE NURSE

JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate should possess the ability to supervise, and provides nursing and Health and Safety services to employees or persons on premises of an occupational setting. Responds and cares for general ailments, injuries and emergency health situations.
He/she should assists in the company’s health/wellness examination programs. Present relevant information to employees on health/safety education and illness prevention, via private setting or group training seminar.

REQUIREMENT

• Skills are typically acquired through possession of a Licensed Practical Nurse license and minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing which includes experience in occupational health setting.
• Previous oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.

2. GENERAL MANAGER – DRILLING FLUID ENGINEER

ROLE DEFINITION:
Manages all activities related to drilling fluid services, technical personnel via personnel assignments, job or project management, administration and technical support. Be customer focused, strategy minded and in a comfortable position to drive corporate vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead multiple Mud Logging operations for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world class safely and business segment efficiency.
• Maintain customer contacts for the purpose of assessing local needs and service quality.
• Work closely with the business development manager to develop local service pricing strategies.
• Co- ordinates and review employee development and training needs.
• Leads, communicates and motivates all mud logging personnel.
• Ensures that the bulk liquid (mud & brine) and dry bulk (barite, bentonite) plants are operating safely, correctly and efficiently.
• Be the clients focal point for drilling operations.
• Prepares comprehensive job analysis, proposals, and bid preparation for customer evaluation.
• Proofreads, edits, and reviews written quote material during proposal effort to ensure customer defined requirements are met

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• 10 years’ experience in an oilfield operations environment.
• Thorough understanding of processes and procedures relating to Drilling Fluids and laboratory services
• Ability louse highly specialized and advanced skills, knowledge and techniques in problem recognition and solution development
• Hands-on on proposal/quote documentation
• Previous oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.

3. PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

JOB DESCRIPTION
Coordinates and oversees single or multiple unit functions at the well site and base camp.
Routinely works in a well site and base camp as assigned, and provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set Up, well site direction, and customer-related Support activities.

REQUIREMENT

• Requires knowledge typically associated with 3-5 years of experience, with an engineering degree.
• Previous oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.

4. PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE – ELECTRICAL

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under direct supervision, assists in a variety of tasks in support of general maintenance.
Performs maintenance and repair tasks as directed on all electrical related systems.
Assist in completing and maintaining plant maintenance documentation, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various dean-up and housekeeping activities.
Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures.

REQUIREMENT

• Skills are typically acquired through possession of at least a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience.
• Previous oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.

5. PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE – MECHANICAL

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under direct supervision, assists in a variety of tasks in support ofgeneral maintenance.
Performs maintenance and repair tasks as directed on all mechanical related systems.
Assist in completing and maintaining plant maintenance documentation, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures.

REQUIREMENT

• Skills are typically acquired through possession of at least a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of experience.
• Previous oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.

6. PRODUCTION OPERATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Under supervision, assists with pre-job product and service equipment preparation (assembly, test, mobilize) and product installation at the well site.
• Assists with post-job mobilization, clean up and repair of service equipment and products.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to HSE related activities – site assessments and risk analyses, onsite safety meetings, PPE use, documentation, etc.

REQUIREMENT

• A degree or HND in any engineering related course, plus at least two years work experience on any project.
• Previous oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.

7. PRODUCTION FACILITY SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be able to direct, plan and supervise assigned production facility projects including design, construction, renovation, or replacement of office, and site infrastructure facilities.
Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability of operations.
Coordinates diverse activities within a functional area.

REQUIREMENT

• Required qualification and skills are typically a bachelors degree in engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in technically related facility.
• Previous oil & gas sector experience is an added advantage.
