Smart Partners - Our client in the banking sector urgently requires the services of an Investment Banker in its new Finance House;

Job Title: Investment Banker

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Good knowledge of Financial and Business Analytics
• Good Knowledge of Market Analytics
• Ability to interpret numbers is a must
• Manage corporate, strategic and financial opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, bonds and shares, lending, privatisations, and initial public offerings (IPOs).
• Advise and lead management buyouts, raise capital, provide strategic advice to clients, and identify and secure new deals.
• Thoroughly researching market conditions and developments;
• Identifying new business opportunities;
• Carrying out financial modelling, then developing and presenting appropriate financial solutions to clients;
• Liaising with the chief executive and chief finance officers of large organisations;
• Co-ordinating teams of professionals, including accountants, lawyers and PR consultants and working closely with them.

Qualifications and Skills

• A good first degree in Economics/Accounting/Business Administration/ with MBA/MSc and relevant certifications and trainings.
• Must have minimum of 7 years Investment Banking experience and track performance.
• Good proposal, presentation and business writing skills.
• Applicant must not be above 40 years.
• Good at planning, forecasting and execution
• Risk and project management skill is a must.
• Good with data mining, analysis and presentation.
