Vacancies in an International Publishing Company (5 Positions) - Lagos

An international publishing company producing Magazines, Books (Academic and Biography), Directories, Periodicals and specialised documentaries requires, the services of Nigerian and Expatriate Staff

Location:  Lagos

1.) Female Bilingual Marketing Executives

Young and success-driven female French graduates from reputable universities with flair for marketing.

The ideal candidates must be personable and self-confident with high oral and written communication skills in French or Portuguese languages. Copied from: hotnigerianjobs.com-

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2nd Class Upper Division.

They should also possess valid international passports, willing to travel at short notice and able to work independently in Francophone countries.

Candidates should state whether they prefer to work in Lagos or Abuja.

2.) Business Reporters/Researchers (Bilingual)

Commercial and French graduates with flair for writing.

Candidates must have covered business beats and/or must have worked on the Business Desks of any reputable Publishing House.

Should possess valid international passports, willing to travel at short notice and able to work independently in Francophone countries and other countries.

3.) Assistant Editors/Staff Writers

Should have a Masters degree from a reputable University, with a 2:1 at first degree level in such disciplines as Economics, Philosophy and Humanities/Arts.

Point of entry will be determined by experience and competence. However, candidates with less than 5 years analytical experience need not apply.

4.) Graphic Artists

Should have 5-7 years cognate experience in graphics

Should be able to design beautiful covers for magazines, periodicals etc.

Strong skills in playing with colours and enhancing the aesthetic quality of publications.

Experience in page planning will be an added advantage.

5.) Editorial Consultants

This is for veteran journalists and accomplished literary/economics intellectuals with flair for writing.

Candidates should have over 20 years post-graduation experience in the print media.

Salary and other conditions of service are attractive and negotiable.
