Project Secretary at Women's Health and Action Research Centre


The Women's Health and Action Research Centre (WHARC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1993 to promote the health and social well-being of women through action-research, evidence-based advocacy, training and service delivery on reproductive health with special emphasis on girls and women. WHARC works in 18 Nigerian states, with headquarters located in Benin City, Edo state. The Benin office now wishes to immediately appoint self-motivated, innovative and proactive individuals to fill the under-listed post.


The Women's Health and Action Research Centre is recruiting to fill the below position:

Job Title: Project Secretary

Location: Benin, Edo

Job Description
The position holder will handle all typesetting and some graphic designs in the centre. She/he will be responsible for typesetting the centre’s journal and design of newsletter, brochures, fliers etc.
The objective of this office is to ensure that WHARC’s typesetting work and graphic work are handled professionally and promptly.
Requirements
Possession of HND Secretarial Studies
Previous experience in the printing jobs would be an added advantage
Ability to use Corel draw, Adobe Pagemaker , Photoshop and other design tools
At least two years’ job and employment experience.
