We are seeking the services of a qualified Quality Control Manager with the following:

Job Title: Quality Control Manager In A Printing Organization

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

Setting Quality Assurance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved

Maintaining business profitability and budgetary control issues

Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers and comparing with customer requirement

Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external supplier

Considering the application of environmental and health and safety standard

Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply

Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff

Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures

Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training

Collating and analyzing performance data and chat against defining perimeters

Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary

Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks if necessary

Writing technical and management system report

Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures

Qualification

A first degree preferably within the social sciences, an MBA or other post graduate qualifications would provide a strong advantage.

Candidate must have at least 10 years experience within the printing industry, 6 years of which must involve quality control position

Candidate must understand the pre, during and post process of printing

Must have a good understanding of printing machines

Candidate must be able to manage a team of 4 people in a production unit
