Upstream Oil Industry - Our client is an independent company with significant interest In Oil and Gas Industry and seeks to engage experienced, intelligent and self driven individuals to fill the below position as a result of its expansion and development programmes.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Senior Geoscientist/Petrophysicist

Location: Lagos Nigeria

Minimum Education and Experience

• The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology/Geophysics (with minimum of second class upper).
• A Masters degree any of these disciplines will be an added advantage.
• Ten (10) years of experience in the Oil Industry with operator(s).
• The key accountabilities would be to deliver detailed subsurface evaluation, creating /updating an existing reservoir model to support exploration & development prolects.
• Candidate must have competence In the following areas:
• Proficient in geological evaluation, geophysical interpretation. petrophysical interpretation, innovative mapping using wells, seismic, production end reservoir data experience.
• Prospect generation, risking and ensuring the accurate estimation of exploration prospect reserves as well as technical risks Seismic attribute analysis, modeling, prospect evaluation and preliminary volumetric using the landmark/Petrel applications.
