Productivity Improvement Consultant (Operations) - (BPI)
consulting firm - There are a small number of these positions available. To be
based in either (Lagos, Accra, Dakar, Casablanca) - $184,000.00 USD + 50%
performance related bonus - This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished
individual with operations and multi-departmental productivity improvement
experience to work within a team of professionals advising global companies
about productivity improvement, management and sustainability.
Our client is an established (BPI) consulting firm which is
expanding its operations. The company is specifically looking to identify a
number of accomplished individuals who are able to facilitate the development
and implementation of operational productivity improvement plans within a
multi-client portfolio. Candidates must be based in either one of the locations
listed above, but they will also be required to travel to the client’s other
offices from time to time in other parts of the country and internationally. This
is a core vacancy and as such the salary offered is calculated under the Senior
Partner code. This position also includes a first rate healthcare, pension and
share options package.
The position requires good operations and productivity
improvement knowledge, general industry experience across at least five core
industries, and good performance improvement, process improvement,
communication and interpersonal skills. Our client is also looking for people
with a friendly and non-threatening demeanour with good diplomatic skills.
Responsibilities will include facilitating internal teams of departmental
managers and directors enabling them to decentralize responsibility for
performance, management and productivity improvement throughout all major
operations departments and using sustainable key performance indicators.
Candidates should also have general experience in production, operations,
finance, human resources, information technology, management, customer services
and marketing.
Desired Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have an operations,
administration, performance improvement or business-related degree and
preferably consultancy-related professional qualifications. They will also have
experience within at least five industries and be an experienced productivity
improvement manager at management level. Our client is looking for candidates
who are ambitious, inspirational and have exemplary leadership qualities
together with a motivational perspective. You should also be able to demonstrate
a progressive track record of success within
performance management, productivity improvement and have a sound
economic understanding. Specific geographical market knowledge and specific
industry knowledge would also be an advantage.
