Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office will encompass but is not limited to the following:
The General supervisor (Projects) is responsible for the integrated project management and productive life cycle of all tasks from tender to closure ensuring client approval with consignment metrics and a thriving financial conclusion for the business
Management of the technology function to be in agreement with both purchaser and nationwide measures
Management of both interior and external technical interfaces
delineation of the scope for external contraction and in house execution for all phases of the work
administration of project construction, tasks services and affiliated personnel
Management of work load and engineering support teams encompassing culmination administration
Qualifications and know-how
Having a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, method, Instrumentation) is a plus
Having a expert Engineering rank with a professional body is a plus
Must have at least twenty years in oil and gas facilities projects execution
Must be a seasoned expert with know-how within purchaser organisation or EPCM administration with exact accountabilities in project execution in upstream oil and gas industry
Must have strategic, operational, financial and financial administration know-how
Must illustrate Engineering task administration competence with specific responsibility for consignment of engineering, designing, reporting, tendering, cost estimation and command, risk administration, agreement consignment and administration of engineering and other sub-contractors and change administration
should be adept to demonstrate high consignment measures in administration of value Assurance and HSE
Must have know-how in worldwide founded assignments even in isolated and tough positions
Must have management exposure in all project-engineering stages from comprehensive technology to start up preferably with fabrication backbackyard and building know-how
should be adept to mentor other Nationals and local employees competently
