Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an emerging courier services company to recruit a HR Manager for its operations in Lagos – Nigeria.
Job description
The HR Manager will be responsible for developing tools (dashboards, charts etc) to track important HR metrics such as talent/performance, attrition, recruitment, diversity etc in line with HR strategy and also monitor and addresses legal compliance issues to by ensure that the organisation complies with national laws (for e.g. recruitment, diversity, data protection, employee contracts)
The HR Manager would report to the Managing Director.
The position is based in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Brings HR insight (including employee and industrial relations) to bear on all people related issues (people capabilities, organisation, leadership and culture.)
- Facilitates HR service delivery to the business.
- Collaborates with the business for the creation a high performance culture by supporting the implementation of team and organisation design solutions.
- Seeks opportunities to improve/enhance the talent/performance management processes for the organisation functions
- Interfaces with HR service provider for delivery of core HR services to the business monitors Quality and timeliness of service provision.
- Helps to monitor and to address legal compliance issues to ensure that the organisation complies with local and national laws.
- Assists with the generation of workforce measures and metrics, reporting, variance & trend analysis.
- Maintains a database of job profiles and organisation structures for different functions
- Oversee and administer staff welfare packages as well as occupational safety and health matters.
- Management of the company’s training programs
- Competencies report, performance appraisal and career interviews.
- Ensure the implementation of social regulations.
Qualifications et experience
- Bachelors’ degree in social or behavioural sciences.
- Master degree is an added advantage.
- Must have a minimum of 4years of related experience.
- Must possess good presentation skills.
- Must possess analytical skills.
- Must possess leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English).
- Must be computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.)
- Must be excellently spoken and written
