Unilever Nigeria Plc is recruiting to fill the following position:

Job Title: Electrical/Instrumentation Technician

Location: Oregun, Lagos

Responsibilities

• To support manufacturing achieve their production, quality and safety targets. To support the Project Implementation and to handle all the electrical needs of the shop floor, warehouse, Utilities and Admin building (Head Office inclusive) as per instruction.
• Is responsible for in line production quality
• Handles all electrical jobs with safety as and when delegated by the team leader
• Maintains logbook of all electrical/Instrumentation maintenance jobs
• Maintains safe working atmosphere of the equipment and co workers and contributes to hazard reporting process of the factory
• Submits daily maintenance and breakdown reports
• Follows the spare part management procedure
• Is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of the line equipment
• Must be able to interprete electrical drawing
• Must have basic understanding fo PLC
• Participates in Plant Maintenance meetings
• Implements continuous improvements assignments
• Observes and maintains Total Production Maintenance principles in the line covering the operations all the time
• Maintains highest quality standards, ensures safe working practices and care for environment through compliance with the guidelines set up in Company Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, customer service and consumer safety policies of Unilever Nigeria
• To support the Project Implementation

Qualifications
Ordinary National Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/C&G
Team work
Good communication skills
3 - 5years experience in similar operations
Oral Processing & Packing Equipments experience is preferred
The person will be authorized in writing as Electrical Resource on Site in line with Unilever Specific Standard for Electrical (H.V. & L.V.)
