The Federal Ministry of Water Resources, as the focal point of the Lake Chad Basin Commision (LCBC) matters in Nigeria, wishes to draw the attention of the general public to the underlisted position which have been declared vacant by the Executive Secretariat of LCBC:
Job Title: HR Development Expert
Duty station: N’Djamena, Republic of Chad
Contract duration: One (1) year renewable
Category: CS

Responsibilities
Requirements
The applicant should hold at least a Master Degree in HR or in Management or in a relevant field.
The candidate should have at least five (5) year professional experience.
The applicant should have a good working knowledge of HR related project management methodologies, and be an expert in HR development issues;
The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly, to work in a multi-disciplinary team, to coordinate and to adjust to a multicultural working environment;
Fluency in one of the LCBC’s working languages, namely English or French, and a good command of the other language. Fluency in both two languages would be and an advantage.

- Promote staff performance development;
- Take part in the implementation of various HR related projects.
- Main activities
- Prepare and supervise the campaign of annual staff assessments;
- Develop a training plan in cooperation with the other Departments;
- Supervise the implementation of the training plan for quality and performance improvement;
- Ensure the implementation of career plans;
- Contribute actively in HR and communication joint projects.
