Head of Transportation & Logistics, Job Vacancy at KPMG Nigeria
As part of its growth and expansion plans, the company is seeking to recruit self driven, experience and motivated individuals to fill select position within the Group’s various businesses.
The client seeks to fill the following key position:
Job Title: Head of Transportation & Logistics (Job Code: FMH003)
Reporting to the Group Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall accountability of panning, coordinating and managing the fleet including related general administration.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage company’s fleet and coordinate drivers.
· Ensure the security of all the vehicles of the company including but not limited to arranging tracking for all cars, engraving all their parts, e.t.c.
· Monitor and ensure the routine and need-based maintenance of vehicles document desk to ensure that all vehicles in conjunction with the engineering department.
· Relate with the vehicles documentation desk to ensure that all vehicle particulars (e.g. registration, insurance) are complete.
· Track and analyze the vehicle-wise cost of fuel, maintenance and other recurring expenses pertaining to running of the vehicle in specified manner.
· Implement and maintain quality systems and continuously improve methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
· A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
· Degree/certificate course in transport management.
· Minimum 12 years experience of handling same
· Excellent knowledge in a transport function within an FMCG/Manufacturing Company
· Good writing and communication skills
