We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Position: Sterilizer Operator (Batch or Continuous)

Job Description

1.) Maintain performance of sterilizers at acceptable level:

• Implement regular lubrication schedule
• Maintain reasonable spare parts inventory
• Initiate orders for spare parts
• Regularly evaluate performance of machine.

2.) Maintain preventive maintenance history of machine:

• Record repairs and spare parts usages
• Regularly evaluate machine efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and good appearance
• Ensure that machine is being used properly

3.) Perform overhauling whenever required:

• Order necessary parts for overhauling
• Dismantle major worn-out parts for replacement
• Evaluate parts for replacement
• Replace worn-out with new parts and assemble correctly according to manual.
• Test machine for correct operation.

4.) Conduct day-to-day trouble-shooting of machine:

• Regularly evaluate machine performance
• Implement timely corrective action as required
• Perform regular evaluation of correct sterility values for various products and can sizes.

5.) Is responsible to carryout any work that may be required from time to time.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 Years Experience In Operating Process Control Instruments Including Calibration.
• Bachelors In Engineering Or Technology.
• Masters Or Professional Qualification Added Advantage.

Required Skills:

• Has Attended Mechanical Or Technical Course In Machine Assembly And Repair.
• Has 5-10 Years Actual Trouble-shooting / Overhauling Experience Of Seamer/filler And Cooker/cooler; And Related Processing Equipment Like Pumps/conveyors.
• Knows The Different Can Seam Defects And Causes
• Can Perform Can Seam Evaluation
• Has Basic Knowledge About Food And Thermal Processing
• Has Plumbing Skills: For Steam, Air And Water Pipes
• Knows Operation And Maintenance Of Various Conveying And Palletizing System
• Experience Of Batch Retorts And/or Continuous Cooker/cooler.
