Kwara State University, Malete invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Quantity Surveyor is directly responsible to the Director, Works and Physical Planning
Department for the day to day activities of the Department which, among others, include; analysis of overall cost for protects construction regarding quality of material and other budgetary concerns
Keeping project budget at the minimum
Preparation of legal contract documents and rendering of detailed progress report on ongoing construction projects
Conducting research on all health and safety regulations regarding local and state policies for information of project contractors
Acting as liaison between the contractor’s engineering and sales department to keep cost down

Qualifications:
- Candidates for the post of a Senior Quantity Surveyor (CONTISS 08) must possess B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying from any recognized institution.
- Minimum of five years relevant working experience preferably in a University or appropriate examination.
- Proficiency in ICT will be an added advantage.
